Hack Nokia S40 Security : Make Java Apps ask Permissions only once

Hi Folks, today I'll tell you how to sign java apps with hacker's certificate, so they won't disturb you anymore
S40 Intro :
Series 40 is a software platform and application user interface (UI) software on Nokia's broad range of mid tier mobile phones. It is the world's most widely used mobile phone platform and found in hundreds of millions of devices.
Series 40 is a simpler operating system variant than the higher end S60 (which is based on the multi-tasking Symbian OS). Because S40 devices do not support true multi-tasking and do not have a native code API for third parties, its user interface may appear to be more responsive and faster than other Nokia platforms. While Series 60 can run more applications and is recognized as "Symbian" more so than the simplistic Series 40, Series 40 does not have support for Symbian apps—rather, Series 40 runs Java ME applications such as FileExplorer (which allows the user to manage files and folders on their phone), but these java applications keep on asking for permissions on every single operation, which makes things fussy. Here we'll show you how to get rid of this fuss..

==================First Way=================
Start with download these applications :

OxyCube Setup.exe
24.8 MB- Windows 32-bit/64-bit.
BeHappyInstall.zip
75.6 KB- Windows 32-bit/64-bit.
User.zip
703 Bytes Informational file.
1st Install application OxyCube and it will let you copy/read files in system folders, we'll need it.

Now go there to phone C:\Hiddenfolder\certificates\user and copy the contents form file user.zip to this path files

After copying files from user.zip in "C:\Hiddenfolder\certificates\user " , install the certificate by double clicking on it. It'll guide u step by step to perform installation. After certificate's been installed, restart your phone.
Note: If OxyCuebe not able to show this folder or get any error message than download and try with MobiMB form here :
MobiMB_v3.5_full_Cracked.rar (0.32 MB)
2. Then, install BeHappy application.
3.Drag & drop .jar file to BeHappy window - you will get popup balloon informing that app is signed
4. Now copy BOTH .jar & .jad to your phone (doesn't matter bt or usb or card reader)
5. Highlight app - click options - application access set all to 'always allowed'
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 with any apps you install.

May not all apps will works however, you can apps yourself, and some apps will be 'signed', and some won't run.

==================Second Way=================

This way you can easier get rid of only file system permissions than installing lots of softwares and signing everything. Remember just delete .jad files of signed files - and see the result. Tested on 3120 Classic with minicommander, liteftp, kd player, mobyexplorer 3 cracked, readmaniac, mobilerar.

A brief description: every s40 phone has Product Profile. it's like advanced configuration file for nokia. The trick is to modify Product Profile for your phone, so every unsigned java app will have access to file system perfectly without even setting permissions!

You will use JAF service software for applying this hack. Supported following s40 phones:

2626, 2630, 2660, 2760, 3109c, 3110c, 3120c, 5200, 5300, 5310, 6021, 6070, 6080, 6101, 6103, 6111, 6126, 6103, 6230i, 6233, 6270, 6280, 6300, 6300i, 6301, 7500 prism, 8600 luna, 6131, 6133, 6131 NFC, 6020, 6101b

Sony Ericsson LiveView: Android Remote on Your Wrist

Sony Ericsson has launched LiveView a device that uses Bluetooth connectivity to wirelessly pair up to a smartphone running Android 2.x and allows user to control the phone without taking it out of their pockets. It is a 1.3" OLED touchscreen device, measuring 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.1 cm. Its helpful for those who want to use this second device to removes the need to take that big smartphone out of your pocket for every tittle work.

Buttons on the sides compliment the touchscreen for a range of input and navigation options. Its allows the user to control the Sony Ericsson music features of the handset from the micro display, selecting tracks and controlling volume. The product also serves as a calendar reminder, displaying calendar events and other phone applications. The idea here is you wear LiveView on your clothes or as a watch. It can then be used to view Twitter feeds, quickly check who is calling you, what calls you missed, view e-mails, RSS feeds, Facebook messages etc. and act a music playback controller.

LiveView will work with any smartphone running Android 2.x. An app needs to be installed on your phone that allows communication with the device. For a specific app to work it needs to be LiveView compatible, but Sony Ericsson has also created LiveWare Manager which scans Android Market for compatible apps. The Sony Ericsson LiveWare manager will be available from Android Market, or come preinstalled in phone bundles.

Probably Sony Ericsson want users to use LiveView with one of its phones, but as it is Android this should work with any Android 2.x handset. Sony Ericsson may not allowing it to work with other phones revenue lost but may no one will buy a Sony Ericsson phone just to use LiveView. The Sony Ericsson LiveView will be available in stores across Asia Pacific from Q4, 2010.

Sony to Introduce the World’s First Internet Television on October 12th

Sony has announced that they will be introducing their first Internet Television on October 12th, and they has sent out some invitations to selected people. The event will start at 5:30 PM somewhere in New York. As you know that Google announced the Google TV during the Google I/O and Sony is one of their partners as manufacturer. We hope on that day both Sony and Google will officially unveil the Google TV.

While we near the end of September, it doesn’t look like GTV is going to get “officially launched” this month, contrary to what Intel’s CEO said not too long ago. So it looks like Eric Schmidt’s “Fall” time frame was pretty accurate. Sony has just sent out invitations to their Google TV unveiling, toted as the world’s first Internet TV.
Google TV is really an innovation, and it’s a device that we may think about. We say improvements in TV, but this Google TV will change everything. As Google said that they are inventing the TV again, but in their own way.

There’s no secret that this is the official unveiling of Google TV, on a live unit, that we’ve all been waiting for. It will be Sony that we get to see the first implementation of Google’s Web-based video service, which is meant to integrate Google search and other Web-based elements right into your television. As long as Sony doesn’t showcase any of the Logitech Revue commercials, everything should be fine.

The handset comes with a 3.2-inch WVGA multi-touch display and runs Android 2.1 (Eclair). Connectivity is taken care for by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, as well as full range of network data transfer options (GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G with HSPA). Built-in accelerometer, digital compass a microSD card slot complete the list of the Altek Leo extras.

It will support most major audio and video formats and the internal memory is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

JS Liang, Altek vice president and head of R&D said, "The challenge facing Altek’s design team was how to integrate a fully functioning 14-megapixal camera with 3x optical lens while maintaining Leo’s smart phone form factor. An optical lens requires precision moving parts and mechanisms that ensure the device functions properly, but it also has to be attractive and easy to use. We achieved this without compromising Leo’s look and feel.”
The Altek Leo will hit European shelves in Q1 of 2011 but not information about its pricing.
